Restylane in Dallas, TX
Restylane® is an advanced dermal filler that is revolutionizing the world of anti-aging treatments. It contains potent hyaluronic acid, which helps to reduce and soften the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles on the face and may even work to slow down the rate at which your face shows signs of aging. The Bloom Medical Spa, led by Medical Director and board-certified plastic surgeon, Dr. David G. Genecov, is proud to offer Restylane® to the residents of Dallas, Plano, and the surrounding Texas communities.
What Is Restylane®?
Restylane® is an injectable dermal filler featuring hyaluronic acid (HA). HA works by binding itself to the water content of the skin, helping it to become more hydrated. The result is smoother, younger-looking facial skin. As a consequence of the natural aging process, the skin produces less and less HA over time, which causes it to lack the moisture necessary for maintaining volume and radiance. Without adequate hydration levels, skin becomes thin and weak as it loses its underlying support structure. The result is the skin folds, creases, wrinkles and fines lines that trouble many people as they become older. Restylane® works by restoring the skin’s natural supply of HA, encouraging ultimate moisture in every layer of the skin. This increased hydration helps to plump up your skin, improving the contours of your face with increased volume and a reduction in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
The Restylane® family of injectable dermal fillers is made from clear gels that contain concentrated levels of HA. Each product is developed to mimic the HA that is naturally created by the body, specifically targeting specific problem areas on your face to treat the earliest signs of aging.

How Should I Prepare For Restylane®?
Restylane® is FDA-approved and has been used in over 10 million treatments around the world since its introduction. It is a safe and effective method for combating the natural signs of aging when the injections are performed by a trained, certified, and experienced cosmetic surgeon. While Restylane® is made of only organic ingredients and allergic reactions have rarely been reported, you will need to notify the certified nurse injector providing your treatment before it begins if you have a past history of any allergic reactions or any ongoing medical issues. As with all dermal fillers, you should tell the injector if you have recently received any other injections or if you are currently using any supplements, prescriptions, or medications. Your treatment may need to be rescheduled for a later date if you are currently experiencing an active infection, rash, acne, cold sores, or inflammation and/or skin irritation.
How Is Restylane® Administered?
A certified nurse injector will use a topical anesthetic on your skin to help minimize any discomfort you may experience during your procedure. The Restylane® gel will then be injected directly into the underlying layers of your skin with an ultrafine needle. You may notice some results right away, but results will become more apparent with time. You should expect the results of your treatment to last between 10 to 12 months.

Restylane® treatment costs vary among clients depending on several factors, such as the number of syringes administered. All treatments are to be paid at the time of service. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, cashier’s checks, money orders, and cash payments.
