ArqueDerma in Dallas, TX
ArqueDerma®, or the Injectable ThreadLift™, is a procedure which uses an “arcing” technique to administer dermal fillers to the aging face. The “arcing” technique and the entire Injectable ThreadLift™ procedure were both developed by Leslie Fletcher, RN, MEP-C, in California, who personally trained Carolyn Craft, RN, so that she could provide this treatment specifically for her patients in Dallas, Plano and the surrounding communities of Texas.
What is the ArqueDerma® Artistic Restoration Lift®?
The ArqueDerma® (pronounced ‘arc-derma’) Artistic Restoration Lift® is a technique developed for the restoration and redistribution of natural facial volume that provides a more natural, yet dramatic result than other conventional filler treatments.
As part of becoming a licensed ArqueDerma® specialist, Carolyn Craft, R.N., completed an intense training program through the InjectAbility® Institute, home of the ArqueDerma® technique. Only through this program can a practitioner become licensed and qualified to perform the unique treatment that is ArqueDerma®.
This patented technique allows for the artistic lifting and sculpting of the face, revealing one’s own natural beauty. Licensed ArqueDerma® practitioners are trained not as cosmetic surgery professionals but as artistic skin designers who bring back the face’s own structural support for a superior, natural-looking, and revitalized appearance.
About ArqueDerma® Artistic Restoration Lift®
The ArqueDerma® Artistic Restoration Lift® is a revolutionary, patented technique developed by Leslie Fletcher, RN, MEP-C, to deliver FDA-approved dermal fillers, such as Juvederm®, Restylane®, and Perlane®. Leslie developed this revolutionary technique while working with thousands of patients since 2000 in her practice as an aesthetic nurse injector, as well as an aesthetic injection trainer.
The ArqueDerma® technique allows for the nurse injector to collect collagen and elastin from areas of excessive facial volume and redirect it into other areas that are lacking such volume. Principles and concepts of architectural engineering and physics are utilized to help accomplish this maneuver which helps prolong the use of dermal fillers by up to 40%. In addition, ArqueDerma® stimulates the skin’s collagen production to achieve longer lasting results never before experienced with traditional dermal filler injectables.
Unlike conventional techniques used for skin volume replacement, the ArqueDerma® technique utilizes dermal fillers as transfer carriers to direct and redistribute the patient’s own skin tissue to fill in any existing facial hollows. Using the ArqueDerma® technique, excess facial volume that has started to sag as a result of gravity and age is collected, redirected, and then stabilized to create a fuller, shapelier profile. Your natural beauty is revealed for a more youthful appearance.
Carolyn Craft, RN speaks about the Patented ArqueDerma® Artistic Restoration Lift® – YouTube
“As I continued experimenting with the technique, I saw results that were incomparable to what I had previously seen in my last seven years of injecting. When I started to share the technique casually during my teaching, I realized that this “discovery” was more groundbreaking than I originally thought. The practitioners observing this technique were all amazed and stunned at the results that unfolded before their very eyes. Several practitioners urged me to brand and claim this technique as uniquely my own. Over time, this process of patenting the method has been happening. Then what happened is, patients and practitioners started calling me to learn more about this new “lifting” technique they had heard about. Eventually, I determined to give it a name. I tried to capture the very essence of what I observed happening, which was skin being redirected upward through the arcing and dragging of the needle. I truly felt I was tethering the skin upward with the threads I had laid down with my product. Eventually, I settled on, and trademarked, the name Injectable ThreadLift™. The name fit for two reasons. First, it described everything I was doing with my injectable dermal filler, and secondly it is a name that patients, who had already heard about the “surgical thread lift” could get excited about.” Leslie Fletcher, RN, MEP-C
The ArqueDerma® Philosophy
Often, the environment, the sun, weight changes, and age can take a toll on your physical appearance, causing you to look much older on the outside than you feel on the inside. Our goal at The Bloom Medical Spa is to enhance your best features while minimizing those that you are less than satisfied with through the inventiveness of patented ArqueDerma® technique in combination with FDA-approved dermal fillers. This truly unique system offers a way for our licensed ArqueDerma® practitioner to help you achieve not only a renewed, more youthful appearance but to actually transform the way you see yourself.
Can ArqueDerma® Prevent The Signs Of Aging? Can I Avoid Facelift Surgery Altogether?
Both men and women lose approximately 1% of the collagen content in their skin per year, after age 30. Collagen is a vital element in maintaining a youthful appearance and its lowered presence is made apparent in your face – especially if no effort is made to replace it. Because the ArqueDerma® technique actually stimulates collagen production, it is a wonderful preventative measure against the signs of natural aging, as well as a line of defense against pre-existing lines, creases, and wrinkles. The procedure’s results are comparable to a traditional facelift without the extreme commitment of surgery. We have found that ArqueDerma® has been instrumental in allowing patients to delay any sort of cosmetic surgery for years, even decades, while others are so pleased with the results of the ArqueDerma® technique that they decide to forego any sort of facelift surgery altogether. Addressing collagen loss early is the key to avoiding surgical cosmetic treatments down the road.
Will It Hurt? Will I Be Swollen? How Long Will It Take? How Much Time Do I Need To Allot For Avoiding People?
ArqueDerma® patients report experiencing the same amount of discomfort as those patients receiving traditional injection treatments. A slight upward tugging may be felt during the injection. Many patients actually enjoy the sensation of feeling the ‘lift’ that they have so desperately sought after, so any discomfort felt is worth it.
Because this particular technique deals directly with skin tissue, there may be a bit of bruising at the treatment sites, depending on your body’s unique response. Yet, handling the tissue directly is essential to stimulating collagen production in the skin and to ensure its longer-lasting, sustainable results. Any after-effects that may be experienced can be easily camouflaged with cosmetics. The majority of patients show little to no such signs of treatment and are able to resume their normal daily activities immediately.
The amount of time that you may personally need before feeling comfortable showing your new face in social situations will largely depend on your own body’s response to the procedure, the amount of time it takes to heal, and how comfortable you feel with applying makeup and concealer.
How Long Will The Procedure Take?
The entire length of the procedure depends on your unique desired goal, the amount of product needed, and how much time is spent in consultation regarding your personal goals of treatment. If you have never used a dermal filler, your first session may require a greater amount of time and product depending on your age, your skin’s needs, and your desired look.
Our licensed ArqueDerma® practitioner will let you know how long she expects you will be in session. Also, you will be able to drive yourself home following the procedure because sedation isn’t needed.
How Long Will The Results Last?
Dermal filler treatments vary from patient to patient, as will products. With the ArqueDerma® technique, there is the additional benefit of increased collagen stimulation, helping the results last longer than other conventional filler methods.
Will The Results Be Noticeable?
People will see you looking more refreshed and revitalized, but they won’t be able to tell exactly what you did! It is the most effective technique available for restoring a more youthful appearance. Because the ArqueDerma® technique is based on reestablishing your underlying, foundational facial structure, you will look like yourself – only younger!
